國內的玩家有不少有一個錯誤的看法：玩mod機需要很多的設備或者很多的金錢。但是其實要玩mod機並不一定需要很多的金錢和「高級」設備，但是創意則是mod機必須具備的。廢物利用可是一個節省支出非常不錯的Idea，國外的玩家就用一個垃圾桶改造成為一個非常漂亮的機箱。
